Right, that would be one key for me. I like the idea of having one available without giving them time to talk during the official meeting.I would think this is a good plan, but definitely make it voluntary to interact with the recruiter, and limit their time as you said. Choose wisely, I have worked both sides of employment with a couple of great recruiters, a few good ones, and many that were so-so at best (and dishonest at worst).
I have had similar dealings with recruiters, but I have a few that I trust to follow the rules :)
I'd welcome the availability to start building contacts. After all, if I do my job right, I might not have one left.
